A Goode Deed

Inspired by: Sarah Goode

The namesake for this shirt was the first African American woman to receive a US patent (July 14th, 1885) as a Chicago-based furniture store owner for her folding cabinet bed creation. Her invention was 115 years ahead of today’s “live small” movement as a response to urban crowding in America’s developing cities at the time.

People who wear this shirt...

  • See solutions to problems that millions experience
  • Aren’t afraid to lead in anything
